Statue of Liberty

Today we went down to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It is one of my favorite tourist attractions. The first time I went with my old roommate and her mom. The second time with my sister. This was the first trip without the stroller, and in the rain.

The new South Ferry terminal is pretty wonderful. I hated the old one--that dark, dank, narrow-staired stop, with the funny chains--now it looks like a completely different train system, its almost as nice as D.C.'s. Its really really nice...with escalators, and well-lit.

The sky was that white, it makes the pictures look like we are green screening it, but we were really there.

I was going to say that these almost look photoshopped. Maybe you could tint the sky to a nice pretty blue, or better yet, paste my face in there. Despite the weather, your pictures are really nice.
