We talked about deconstructionalist criticism. I don't think anyone really understands it. It's like the quantum mechanics of English. I've decided this. Anything that doesn't have a definitive end or stopping point is really not understandable to us.
I did an in class essay today. I was amazed to see how each different person deals with the stress presented. But I guess I am just and overly relaxed person.
My apartment got a brand new dishwasher! It's really pretty, and hopefully the excitement of having a new one will motivate the actual use of it. That's probably too much to expect cause dishes are dishes and no one likes doing them --no matter how cool the means of doing them are. So we'll just go on filling the sink up until one of us gets so annoyed they do something about it. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a dishes Fairy.I have no memory of deconstructionalist criticism.
I was always good at in class essays--I wonder if I still would be.
I baked almost every weekend, and on really stressful days so a lot of those dishes were mine. But, I did have a few roommates before Tammy and Emily that baked more than I did (I know hard to believe).d (It was not Jessica, she made some mean cookies with candy bars instead of chocolate chips but other than that it was corn dogs and cheerios.) The other night I made pancakes and opened a can of peaches, and I remembered my college days.

Hey, I baked!
Okay, so maybe I didn't bake... but I cooked/burned an awful lot of tuna stirfry... lol!
Every now and then something jogs my memory and sends me back to our college days too. And that inevitabley leads to a quick, silent prayer of gratitude that I was lucky enough to HAVE such wonderful college days.
Even if it meant that we had to do dishes sometimes :)
Though how cool was our 'chores roster'? huh?!.... hahahaha!
:)

I also made really fabulous Spanish rice seasoned with pink lemonade.
I really miss your pies. Mmmm, homemade peach pie. I'm glad I got to benefit from your stress-cooking!
And why didn't you send the candy bar cookie recipe home? Your room mate peanut butter chocolate chip recipe is the only cookie I ever make these days.
Brecken: Stress Cooker
Emily: Stress Cleaner
Tammy & Jess: Stress Eaters
Our apartment was completely perfect!

How strange - I would have thought that anything that does have a definitive end or stopping point is much less comprehensible. Not that I know much about deconstructionalist criticism - except that I love the look of the words, and the way they roll along my tongue! :)
I love the way that we all respond so differently to various stresses and stimulae. It's so interesting!
