Reuben: Why is Daddy straight?
Mommy: (Long Pause) I'm not sure what you mean by straight.
Reuben: You know STRAIGHT.
Mommy: Nope, I don't know, what does straight mean?
Reuben: You KNOW! (he then raises and lowers his pointer finger repeatedly.) Like a letter "I."
Mommy: Oh, you mean tall and thin?
Reuben: Yeah.
Mommy: Because he is tall and thin.
Reuben: Oh.
(A few moments pass)
Mommy: What is mommy. If Daddy is straight like a letter I, what am I?
Reuben: A rectangle.
