Happy 4th of July

Homemade Candied Cashew Frozen Custard

Next time I don't need to use a whole vanilla bean.
and I'll used a Custard recipe that uses more fat and less egg yolks.

And that my friends is why I am not posting the recipe... because I need to change it.

We don't have frozen custard here, and as soon as I saw your picture and heading I was interested to get the recipe :) When you do get the new recipe (or even any recipe) I'd love to see it. Considering I've been off cooking for some years now, it's surprising to me that I am interested, but I think it's the eating that I'm keen on... (Not that I don't cook - I'm cooking for a ball next week. I just don't much enjoy it.) I was thinking that you might be interested in a couple of home-made icecream recipes that we always like. There is a chocolate almond one that is very yum, but I don't know how well it would work because you don't get our chocolate? And a strawberry one, but I'm not sure if you can get whole thickened cream?

Your custard looks very good!

Looks yummy brecken :)

Hope you had a great fourth of July! It's funny to think that I didn't even notice the forth of July passing this year! I'm back into Aussie life I guess :)

Love you!

Egg yolks *are* fat.
