I may be going crazy

And this time I hope I really am.

I was getting lunch ready, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something dart across the floor... it wasn't Reuben, or a ball. I was the size of a mouse, but dark brown. I was trapped by the oven cause it was by the sink/cupboard. So I ran, and scared Reuben because I rarely run.

So Justin called to check in, and I told him I thought I saw a mouse, and he said, "I've seen it twice, and a little dark thing darting. I thought I was going crazy so I didn't say anything, cause I was hoping I was just seeing things."

AHHH!!!!! GROSSS!!!! we are going to target for valentines day and buying organizing stuff that get all of our stuff off of the ground (mostly Reuben's toys.)

Yeah, not so fun :( But wouldn't it be easier to just catch the mouse than to move everything you own up off the floor? ;)

Are you against mouse traps?

Mice can climb.

Get some of those sticky mouse traps. The mouse runs over it and sticks. Then Justin puts it out in the dumpster.

So between the sticky trap and the regular mousetrap, I'd go for the regular because the mouse just suffers a really long painful death on the sticky trap and you have to carry it out alive.* But, with a regular trap its dead in an instant. And then you call the super to take it out.

*This may not always be the case, it just has been in my experience

That is so terrible, Brecken! First the silverfish and now mice?! Good grief. I hope you can get rid of them.
Have fun with the organizers, though. I always love an excuse to buy organizers!

Ewww! Ewww! Ewww! I would offer to lend you one of my cats to catch it, but you live on the other side of the country, and my cats are afraid of mice.
