Rockettes

I just realized that if the Rockettes where kicking in water they would be called synchronized swimmers.

If it makes you feel better though, I'm pretty sure that I've heard of the Rockettes, and have some vague notion that they have something to do with New York... and maybe with Christmas in New York....

Synchronized Swimming is a rather interesting 'sport' isn't it... When we were little, my sister and I would make up these crazy 'synchronized swimming' routines in the pool, and then drag mum out to watch them.... I'm pretty sure we'd just take a big breath, dive under water kicking out legs in some very unladylike and unsychronized way, and then come up for another gulp of air before repeating the process....

Mothers really are long-suffering, aren't they?
