Old Dutch Church

In your Halloween Celebration read "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," and think of how WE WERE THERE! We crossed the Bridge (its not wooden any more, but there is a big sign saying that its the bridge. We walked by Catrina's grave, and noticed it, we might have walked by Brom and Icabod's as well, but we didn't notice it. Its a beautiful cemetery, with some very very very old tombstones... so old that most of them you can't read what was engraved on them.

Lesson Learned:

  • It is very hard to walk around a really really old cemetery with a stroller.

No, Reuben didn't see the Headless Horsemen. He is still mad about not getting to swim with the ducks. Below is cheering him up.
The above is Justin reading the plaque about Washington Irving, the grave stone is the one with the flag on the left side of it.

Okay, that's it! Your series of photos have inspired me to read Irving. I will read and get back to you.
In the meatime, I love the photos :) The one of you and Reubs on the step is fantastic!
