Counting blessings

a2010 nov 355
So, here we are. Still no news. But, the nice thing about having a daddy seeking employment is he can take a break in the middle of the day to build a snowman with you (Reuben named this snowman Tortellini). The first snow of the season was great snowman snow... since then it has been Minnesota snow. (Which is not good snowman snow.)

This time period is very challenging, and discouragement is a common visitor. None of our options seem viable. But, the boys are happy, and if that is all we can achieve I guess that is good enough until one of the 200 people who have received Justin's resume decides to hire him. (They wouldn't regret it, will you pass that message on to them?)

I made that blue hat. We call it the bubble hat, it has earflaps. I'm pretty proud of it.

We're so jealous of your snow! Molly asks multiple times a day for it to snow...as if I can make it happen. Hopefully it's heading our way soon.

Keep up with the faith with the job search. Something will happen for you soon. It took David over a year for us to find the one in Ames, and he lost it due to his accident in July. So now we're in the same boat again. We definitely feel your pain. We'll keep you in our prayers that something happens soon.

Minnesota snow is sticky in my mind. We got dry snow here recently and not a lot of it. Something will come through in the job arena. At least you have a place to go and the support of your family. Enjoy your Christmas at home! Maybe we'll see you?

All snow is good snow. I'm so sick of summer, and SO jealous of you guys (and the people of London), who seem to have a whole bunch of it at the moment!

I'm so sorry about the discouragement, and the apparent lack of viable options. If there was anyway I could fix it, I would have done it, like, a millions months ago :) If it's any consolation, I think having happy/healthy children is by far more important (though, granted, not as helpful in paying the bills), and I know you'll be blessed for all that you do with them. Just keep going, and it will all work out in the end. Of that, I have no doubt.

One of these days I'll write you a nice and long email, rather than a quick blog comment.

But until then, know that I love you and that you're all in my prayers.

xo Tammy

PS. oh, and the bubble hat? Totally Awesome!

PPS. That 'Totally Awesome' should have been read with the voice of that little kid on the trike from next door in 'The Incredibles'
