Frozen Heaven, Conservatory Garden, Metropolitan Museum of Art

We had a late start, so decided to have lunch at Artopolis. We had a yummy savory crepe, and a salad, and then dessert. I LOVE the desserts there, they are a special treat, in the very least.

We ordered the Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato which ended up being the shining star. Tammy described it as the best icecream she has ever tasted, and just because a picture is worth 1,000 words, I will show you the reaction to that bit of frozen heaven.

We then we took the M4 over to the Conservatory Garden.

Tammy took the above two photos. Tammy, just buy the camera. (And then we can include photos in our book.)

And the last stop of the day was the Met. We did the "Start with Art" Which had a very nice music section. We then ran through European Painting, Drawings and Photography, 19th and 20th century Painting, Greek and Roman Art, and the Musical Instruments. Reuben was then done, and we unfortunately had to leave.

Tammy then babysat the boys, so I could go on a date with Justin, because Justin is having to babysit a few times while Tammy and I go out by ourselves. We saw Date Night, which if it weren't for one scene, I would recommend.

I LOVED the MET. One day we'll have to go there and spend an entire day just looking at everything! That park is gorgeous too.

And yeah, I think I'm going to have to get a nice camera (or look at mum's again...). I really like taking such beautiful photos :)

PART TWO:
Such a wonderful day! I LOVED (If there was a larger font size option for comments, I would have made that 'loved' a size 120 font) that ICECREAM aka, that slice of FROZEN HEAVEN. That DREAM WITHIN A DREAM. I really did feel like I could have died after eating that icecream, and it would have been okay. Everything worth doing, would have been done.

For those of you also reading this post - those photos of me weren't posed. I actually looked like that while I stole bites of Reuben's icecream! hahaha!

Ahh. I'll be dreaming about that icecream. I don't even LIKE icecream that much normally... *happy sigh*

PS. If you hear that someone broke into that restaurant looking for the recipe, and that the police have a suspect in custody, would one of you please come and bail me out?

Beautiful photos Brecken (and Tammy). Did you have to order all of those desserts to be able to photograph them? The photos are so clear!
Which Van Gogh is that?
