At the Beach

Reuben's preschool is learning about water this month, so we all went to the beach today. We loaded two 4-year-olds, three 3-year-olds, an almost-2-year-old, and two under-1-year-olds, and 6 adults into the cars and set off for Fort Tilden. All the children seemed to have fun, and we had the whole thing to ourselves. The water was cold, the weather was perfect, not too hot. I even got my hair wet. Justin, Reuben and I have little patches that didn't get sunblocked, but nothing too bad. I'll be posting more photos from the day on my photo blog over the next few days.

I believe that your recent temperatures and ours are roughly similar of late. It's sunny here too, but I am rugged up inside the house! :)
I particularly like that last photo of Reuben. He reminds me of a poem about dancing with the sea.
Where is the beach you go to?

Oh the beach looks heavenly! We are in the midst of a random rainy season here. How brave that your group took all those tiny kids, way to go super-mommys!!

Congrats to Justin on the film festival. That is amazing! Is there a way or link we can see it or clips of the short? Looks great. (& P.S. we received housing approval, still waiting on an assignment!) :)

Hey Brecky,

You alright? It's been a few days since you're last post (which is not unusual for me, but pretty unusual for you!) hope everything's okay...
