Only in the Eastern Time Zone

We had our delicious tomato soup, and grilled cheese sandwiches (on sour dough with Wisconsin sharp cheddar). This years looked better, but I didn't realize last year's picture wasn't very good.

Sunday we got up and made cinnamon rolls. We might make that a tradition, but only if we live on the east coast where conference doesn't start until noon.

Reuben did really well, and even sat quietly to listen a couple times. Justin and I were uplifted with the messages of hope, unity, ways to find true happiness, and encouragement to enjoy today. We are considering moving to Walden Pond. We figure one extreme to the other might help us find the middle ground. If you missed General Conference, or are interested in how I spent my weekend you can watch it here.

My favorites:
Saturday Morning L. Tom Perry, and Dieter F. Uchtdorf, and
Saturday Afternoon listening to the choir, Joseph B. Wirthlin, Jeffrey R. Holland, David A. Bednar
Sunday Morning Henry B. Eyring, Thomas S. Monson.
Sunday Afternoon Russell M. Nelson, William D. Oswald, andQuentin L. Cook
General Relief Society Meeting Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Gwen’s Cinnamon Rolls

Grandma Wanda sends this with her missionary grandsons to give to investigators.

2 1/4 Cup hot water
½ cup sugar
3/4 cup margarine or shortening
2 teaspoons salt
Combine and let set until the butter melts.

When melted add:
4 Tablespoons. yeast
2 beaten eggs

Gradually add:
7 Cup Flour

Roll out and spread butter, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Then roll into a long roll. Cut with a heavy thread into individual cinnamon rolls. Let raise 10 minutes. Bake at 400 ยบ for 10-13 minutes.
