eight hours is a long time

Today was my first day as a full-time stay at home mom! Go ahead, ask me if I missed work.
NO! We cleaned the house, we cuddled, we played stickers and colored, we cut his hair, we danced to my mother's day present (Diana Krall All for You), We took a nap, and I am currently making dinner.
I'm suprised how much we have gotten done, and how cuddly Reuben is. Reuben is already used to it. I sat down at the computer and Reuben yelled "Don't touch the blog!!!" How did he know that was what I was fixin' to do, and how did he know what a blog was?
As far as the hair cut goes... I don't think I will ever give him this hair cut again. It was really easy, and there aren't stray uncut hairs, but he just looks so devious when he used to look angelic. Its amazing what a huge hair change can do. Reuben keeps touching his hair, and I keep thinking "who is this kid in my house?"

Congrats on your first day without work! I work part-time (4 hours a day) from home and look forward to the day when I can quit. I hate having to schedule our outings and play dates around my work schedule. As soon as Matt starts making the big bucks, I'll join you in the world of stay at home moms. Also, I think the haircut is cute, it makes him look older.

I agree with not giving him this hair cut again. Reuben is so funny.

I think he looks adorable with this haircut! I like it both ways, but you're right, he looks like a completely different person. But still a really cute little person! I am so happy for you that you get to be a stay at home mom now and focus more time and energy on Reuben and getting some of the things done that YOU want to do!! I'm jealous!!!

He looks completely different! I honestly thought this was some other little boy you were going to write about. He looks like he's about 5!
