Reuben's head still hurts him, but its not bleeding, and its not the only thing he talks about. I'm not sure how they take out staples, we'll find out next week. He is on a "My name is George" kick. Before the staples in his head, I was teaching him to say "My name is Reuben," he said it for few days, and no will only say his name is George. When he is on our bed and tries to jump I say, "Reuben, what is the rule." He sits down and says, "monkeys on the bed." And I say, "yeah, no monkeys jumping on the bed."
He refuses to sleep... ever. NO naptimes, NO bedtimes. I am exhausted, and want my bed back. Today I put him in his crib for naptime, and he was talking to his animals for a while and then started yelling, "Bappa Wanna! Bappa Wanna! Bappa WannAAAAA!" (which means Grandma Wanda) I printed off some pictures of family and I put them in a cheep little photo album, he loves to look at them and tell me who everyone is. I'm not sure why he was calling for Grandma Wanda, but he was.
I haven't seen another bug. Justin killed a mouse behind our piano, but we find new mouse poop on our counters everyday. I'm pretty grossed out, and we are running out of bleach.
We watched the VeggieTales Jonah movie tonight. It was pretty good.
Did I tie up the loose ends?

I am so sorry about Reuben's head, it looks pretty nasty. I am glad he is doing okay. And how sick to have mice in your house, I would be grossed out as well. Good luck with everything. It sounds like you are having quite the adventure. :)
I am SO SO SORRY about the no sleeping thing. It's about the worst moment when the naps stop, but Reuben is too young for that. I'm sure it's just that his life has been a little upsetting lately. (I hope, I hope, I hope) I think you can handle just about anything life throws at you as long as you've had sleep. Hope the Sandman returns soon.
Here's a trick we do at the daycare center I work at: have the kids lie on their tummies and we rub their backs. They go to sleep every time. Oh, and there's relaxing music in the background too.
I love the photo album story - that's great :)
