Poor Brecken!

On the upside, maybe you can sleep in a little in the morning (if Rueben sleeps in!). Luckily you don't have a crazy roomy's alarm going off at 5am or anything!

What's Justin working on? Is this his short?

So what movie are you going to watch from Netflix?

I just checked to see if you were online so that I could msn my questions to you and maybe get an answer or two for a change ;) Alas. You must be sitting on your bed watching a movie. Oblivious to the conversational plight of an aussie on the otherside of the world.
*sigh*

Did you know that Emmy has started a blog? http://emilysuze.blogspot.com/

Well, maybe you're asleep. That would be good.... but it's unlikely.

Hey, what's the name of that TV show you were into for a while when we lived together? It was on in the afternoons, and there was that guy who couldn't remember who he was, but he was trying to figure it out? He was raised in an institution or something... didn't he have some kind of special powers? or maybe he didn't...
Something made me think of that show the other day. I can't remember what it was....

Okay. I'm going to go now.

Have a great evening - give Ruebs a kiss from his mormon godmother :)

PS. This is the kind of conversation you and I used to have when we were lying awake in our beds at 2 or 3 in the morning, when you couldn't sleep, and I was about to go to sleep :)

I watched 42 Up, which is a sad movie to watch when you are home alone, and wishing you had a husband. (Okay, I know I have a husband, but when he is gone 11 am to 4:30 am you didn't have one for that day.)

It was called the pretender. And he was just really smart and could be anything he wanted to be, and he was trying to find his family because "the center" took him away from them when he was really young to do studies on him.

Reuben started to cry at 9. And I now have a stomach bug. I'm trying to figure out why I am throwing up. I'm 98% sure tht I'm NOT pregnant. And the lobster in the soup from saturday wouldn't have waited this long to make me sick. Reuben and I ate the same thing for dinner last night and he isn't sick. It must be that I was up until 4:30 worrying.

Brecken,
I can totally relate! It was about 4:15 this morning that I woke up and realized Jed was STILL not in bed next to me (I had to go to bed at 11 to be to work on time in the morning).
When I realized he wasn't there, I thought, "Don't worry Kate, he is just still on campus working on his film." But then I remembered all of those scary emails Columbia sends out about all of the muggings and attacks and such...and I also remembered all the stories the girls were telling at the Cookie Exchange party, and then I got really, really worried. So I texted Jed a frantic, "Where ARE you?!!" To which he replied that he had decided to edit his film on campus (so as not to wake me by working on it in our wall-less apartment). It made me feel better, but I told him to inform me the next time he makes a decision to not come home all night!! I'd rather have him wake me up with a message of his whereabouts than wake up frantic in the middle of the night.
I don't know what bothered me more, that, or the extremely LOUD spanish, fiesta-like music that started blasting outside my window when I was trying to fall back asleep after talking to Jed. Who needs to blast spanish, fiesta music at 4:30 in the morning??! Annoying!
Sorry, this comment is even longer than your post! I should just put it on my blog instead of taking up space on yours!

The pretender, that's right! :) I remember it all now, he could just 'act' like anyone :)

Good times :)

I hope you're feeling better soon. Sometimes stress can just exhaust your body, and you get so run down that every bug going around manages to find a home in your stomach! On the upside, at least Rueben isn't sick, right?!

love you girl - only a few days till Christmas and the uni holidays!
