Are you excited for the holiday season? At our house it is long. It starts this weekend: Voting weekend (justin has monday and tuesday off). Then before we know it it will be Thanksgiving weekend, Justin's birthday, then before we know it--again, Justin's break from school starts, then it is Christmas in New York, New Year's, Reuben's birthday, and the season ends with Martin Luther King day (because that is when just has to go back to school).
I've already got Justin's birthday present, and Reuben's Christmas present, and I ordered Justin's Christmas present, and Reuben's birthday present. I also ordered a new vacuum so we can vacuum our rugs and hardwood floor (because the vacuum we have just sucks up the rugs and starts to make burning smells, and shoots dust and stuff all around on the hardwood instead of sucking it up.) I do not want it to be my Christmas present. The steam cleaner was my birthday present (which I love, by the way.) I want a country house for Christmas... do you think if Justin chips in Santa would give me one? Yeah, that's what I thought.
And in case you think I am rushing it, I will hold of on listening to accuholiday until at least November 20th. Do you think I can do it?
