Autumnal Reflection

Autumn is my favorite season. And, I call it "autumn" because "fall" just isn't romantic enough. I have been waiting anxiously for the leaves to to change. And although a few select trees have turned yellow, I was not satisfied until today. I love the colors. I love the cool breezes. I love the cold winds. I love little red noses on children, and myself. I love that only the die hards are out for morning strolls. I love sweaters and long sleeved t-shirts. I could go on and on.

I used to think I loved it because my birthday started the season, but I have since realized that my birthday isn't in autumn, it is in the last weekend of summer. I love autumn for what it is. A change, and whats more a change, to my second favorite season--winter.

I love autumn too, but I can't say I share your sentiments about winter. But you know that already.

You take the greatest photographs. You seem to have a naturally artistic eye.

My favorite is the one with the pants. Excellent use of the rule of thirds.

Grrrr! I just wrote a nice long post, and then the computer deleted it! I can't be bothered writing it again, so here were the highlights:

- I love Autumn too.
- We call it Autumn in Australia because we're romantics at heart (and because we were convicts sent here from England).
- I love living in Sunny Queensland ('Beautiful one day, perfect the next') but boy do I miss the seasons! It's basically year round summer here, with a bit of a 'cool spell' in the middle of the year! I just think a bit of Autumn, Spring and 'Snow' wouldn't go astray....
- And finally, I really love the Autumn picutres of Rueben. The one of his legs is my new desktop :)

Ciao bella,
