Happenings

This week if "Crit Week" for Columbia film students, that means Justin doesn't have his workshop classes. I kindly asked him not to go to campus today, and he kindly agreed. If you haven't heard Ahmadinejad is speaking at Columbia today. I personally don't know why anyone would want to subject themself to listening to this guy... I don't care that it is a once-in-a-life-time experience. Somethings I don't need to learn from experience, I know someone who went to the Charles Manson Trial to learn that lesson for me.

Tonight: Mets Game.

Wow - that sounds like a really fascinating speech! I kind of would have like to be there to see it! I've been learning, lately, that there really are people in the world who just think so completely and utterly differently from me. I mean, I knew that of course, but I've been having to work with some of them lately, and it's really left me stunned. I recently met a billionaire from another country who owns several hotel chains as well as a massive commercial shipping company, and as he told me that the best way to sell something good is to have the actors take all of their clothes off, I wanted to laugh - until I realized that he really believed that. I don't of course, so quite an interesting conversation followed (storyboards were completely forgotten!). I just don't understand how some people can get things so totally wrong. We're all born with the same light of Christ, right?
I guess Satan really is the father of all lies.
xo Tammy.
