Hind Sight is 20/20

We left our camera on the porch of Hugh and Sandi's in the bustle of a screaming-stinging baby. We went back last night, and once we got home I looked at the pictures of Reuben feeding the ducks. There was one video, taken right before Justin put the camera on the porch. I am including it below. If you watch closely the second time you see the fish you will see something coming out of the mouth. It made me sick to see that. If only...



Isn't it interesting that there are so many "if only"s. If only Reuben could talk. If only Justin would have looked into the fish's mouth, instead of thinking that Reuben was only pointing at the fish. If only those hornets would have been bothered all the other times the ducks were fed.



Hugh took care of the hornets. Justin tried to take Reuben out to see the ducks again last night, but Reuben remembered and clutched onto him and cried. Justin didn't push. We took him to the doctor, she said that if he didn't have a reaction then we don't have to worry about him. He does have a sinus infection, but that is unrelated.
