Commuting Woes

So last night when I was leaving work I got in my very second running-into-something-and-breaking-the-car accident. I checked both sides of my parking spot, and there were no cars so I turned the steering wheel and started to back up, and all the sudden I couldn't move any more... called a pillar ran into the passenger side door, and knocked off the mirror. The mirror didn't hurt my feelings very bad because when I was driving to work from dropping of Jordan at the airport I ran into a barrel thing that they put up for road construction, and the mirror popped out of the black thing, so it has been useless for a while anyway. And now I don't have to feel bad about it not being in the black thing, because there isn't one.

I didn't know that pregnancy made you more accident prone. And then it took me a super super long time to get home because dumb people drive 40 in the passing lane and hold up their cell phone when I tailgate them to give them the hint that I want to USE the passing lane. If you can't drive and talk on the cell phone then don't do it... or at least don't do it in the passing lane! I was very angry, and then I saw the yellow billboard that says "Don't drive angry." And that just made me madder... like some yellow sign can boss me around when some moron won't drive, or get out of my way.

I finished Talyn and Kevin's guest book, but because I was stressed I didn't do as good of a job as I wished I had.

Hee hee. Could have been worse. You could have pulled the whole fender off like I did! That only cost about $800 to fix. Acck! Then, while the car was getting fixed, I got in an accident in the rental car.

I hate people who drive slow in the fast lane. Punks! And they might as well tell people not to speed as tell them not to drive angry. Like that's gonna happen...but I'm not bitter...

Well, I'm conflicted here, because it's like I always say "everyone's in way too much of a hurry anyway", but it's also like I also always say, "you shouldn't talk on the cell phone in your car." So, I don't know which one I always say more, but I stick by both of them :)

Someone like willy wonka should really make a candy that you can eat that makes you not able to get mad while driving, because I find that it usually starts from the silliest things and causes more problems than it solves. Since technically it doesn't solve any and once in a while causes some. But that candy would probably end up being an illegal substance and nobody would be allowed to eat it. Oh well. I guess we're stuck getting control of ourselves... poor us :)

Anyway, if it makes you feel any better, Breezy's brother Matt ran into a telephone pole with his new SUV the other day... heh... that kind of thing happens. I always thought it was a bad idea to be driving around all these perfect, shiny works of art we're all so proud of keeping so nice and new out on the streets within mere inches of oe another at relative speeds of up to 140 miles per hour. Seems like an average of 16,500 accidents per day just waiting to happen, you know?
