Minnesota: Duluth

We decided Amanda needed to see Lake Superior, the greatest of the great lakes. Just a few days before there was major flooding in Duluth, and all they had to show for it (other than the flooded basements, and ruined cars) was muddy red water. We waited at at canal park for two hours hoping to see the giant boat that was scheduled to come. When it didn't we went over to park point. Turns out, the giant boat came just in time for us to get stuck in the traffic jam, but not be close enough to really see it.
