Not a Vacation

My parents have never been on a vacation. One time mom tried to make our trek west a vacation by going to the Corn Palace, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and the Oregon Coast. (There wasn't a link for pimento loaf sandwiches driving in circles to the tallest point, with the lingering smell of sulfur).

While they were here they mostly worked, and the thing Grandpa did for me (and Reuben, and eventually Simeon) was take a part a pink bike we got for free from our neighbors, spray paint it green, and re assemble it. I couldn't have done it alone, and Justin's time is so limited that it was a huge blessing to have Grandpa do it.

How is Reuben's skinned knee?

He seems to re-skin it every day. and by re-skin I don't mean grow new skin. But he can't seem to keep a band-aid on it.
