One of the hardest things about our first year here was that I worked full-time from home, and had to phone in for a meeting during the playgroup so I never got to go. I spent a year in nursery, unable to go to playgroup and found it extremely hard to meet or make friends with anyone. Once I quit (among other blessings) our playgroup was the best thing that happened to my NY social life. Especially because Reuben loves playing with his friends so much.
We were really lucky to have so many friends for Reuben here, and even luckier that their mom's could be my friends.

LOVE the bright colours! For me, summer means crazy bright colours. And the fact that Brisbane is pretty much a perpetual summer probably explains why we all wear such bright colours here :)
