Glow

Instead of resolution, or a huge project that I probably won't keep working on I'm going to try the "one little word" approach. I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with Ali Edwards, and "One little word". Well, she suggests you choose one word to focus on over the course of the year.

After considering plenty of words, I've landed on "glow." I want to glow. I want my family to glow. A glow that comes from happiness. A glow that comes from faith. A glow that comes for righteousness. A glow that comes from health. I don't need to be shiny, glowing is enough, and probably enough of a challenge.

So, the last day of each month I will dedicate a special post to my word, glow. I'll have a photo, and something thoughtful to say. I will not wait until the night before. I will look all month for something worthwhile.

Here's to a glowing 2010.

I love your one word idea. Maybe I could even keep that resolution!

Oh Brecken - what a fabulous idea! And what a fabulous word! Although I'm pretty sure you already glow in each of those ways most of the time. My new years resolutions are long, detailed and extremeley complicated - of course! haha!

My trip is becoming more and more definite - I've practically locked in the dates for each move on my trip too, so I'll send you an email soon to see if my proposed NY dates fit for you guys. VERY excited to see you - way too jealous that my parents got to see you all before I did! :)
