Photos above from metmuseum.org
We went over to the Met to look at the Christmas Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crèche, I declare it a success. Reuben spent a good twenty minutes mesmerized. Justin explained things to him, as I kept the stroller rolling to keep Simeon calm.
Reuben asked why there was money in the fountain. Justin explained wishing, and found a penny in his pocket. Reuben dropped it in, and said, "I wish there was a lion in my house."
Below is the untitled sculpture by Anish Kapoor, it is stainless steel, and magnifies the sound of what ever is standing right in front of it, in our case, Reuben roaring.
I took some more photos that will appear on my photo blog next week, or if you are sneaky and check my flickr photostream they are up there.
