My mom always said that my sisters would be the best friends I'd ever have. I guess she would know, she has three sisters. And, while it is true now, it didn't seem possible a few times in the past.
Now that I am a mother, I realize that it is also my mom's greatest hope for her daughters to be best friends. I know it is mine for Reuben and Simeon. The moments where they are interacting are the best of the day. Reuben's kindness, Simeon's awe. Reuben's high pitched talking-to-the-baby voice, and Simeon's reserved-for-Reuben smile.

I love my relationships with my siblings too. And with my in-law siblings... it just seems to get better as we all grow up :)
