Number One Reason:

The number one reason I want this baby to come soon (as in this week) is so I don't have to have anymore appointments.

I left home at 1:45 for my 2:45 appointment. I got to the hospital at 2:30, wasn't checked in until 3:15. They took my vitals at 4:15, but couldn't find my chart so they let someone see my midwife before me. Finally at 5:25 the midwife came out, but there was someone else waiting for her who had her older child with her so she went first. then at 5:45 I saw my midwife (for my 2:45 appointment). They still couldn't find my chart.

I was a half hour late for my birthing class, Justin was on time so he got to hear all about the c-section.

So the news is they won't let me go past Sept. 11, they will induce (even considering my history.) So, I need all of you to pray that I go into labor before Sept. 11 because I don't want anything to do with those drugs this time around.

His head is down and low. My blood pressure was a little high today but that could have been the frustration of having to wait all day long. I go in for a non-stress test (fetal monitoring and measuring the amniotic fluid) on Sept. 3, and will have to go in twice a week after that until I have the baby.

Ugh...I am sorry you had to wait so long. I will be praying for him to arrive soon! You looked great today. Hope you are doing ok tonight.

It could have been a coincidence, but when they threatened to induce me after 10 days I started using the acupressure points to induce labor and I was in labor in 24 hours. It didn't hurt or anything. I just did it myself. It's worth a shot at least.

What a nightmare!

Acupressure is a great method I think. Might even consider acupuncture if that doesn't bother you. I'll keep you in my prayers though. Good luck!!

Oh Brecken - that's horrible!

Okay. We'll all pray that you go into labour early and quickly this time (And I'll throw in 'relatively painlessly' while I'm there...)

It really seems a little criminal to keep a heavily pregnant lady waiting for that long! You always hear about people waiting in emergency rooms to get seen for 12 hours at a stretch, and I always figured they must be exaggerated... maybe not, huh?

I'm sorry to hear that you had to wait for so long! I think that this birth could go entirely differently from your first :) It's already better in some other ways, isn't it? :)
