It begins

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night because someone was kicking me. It wasn't Justin, he is more of a hog than a kicker. It wasn't Reuben, who was all the way in his room. That leaves one... Simeon.

I admit that I was sleeping with a tums in my mouth to control the heart burn so he had a stream of energy, but isn't 21 weeks a little early for this?

Oh, I love the flutter of baby kicks more than just about anything in the world!

And 21 weeks is definitely not too early. You're more attuned to the whole baby thing the second time around, and are recognizing those movements for what they are a little sooner this time. I was feeling kicks at 4 months.

Hooray for little butterfly baby-kicks!

Sometimes I miss being pregnant and being able to feel a baby move...and then I remember the heartburn, frequent trips to the potty, and the inability to sleep on my tummy.

I'm so glad that everything is going well with little S!

I recall once it actually started with Olive it just got stronger and stronger. Totally the absolute best part of pregnancy.

I love that feeling! You'll find that you will miss it one day, when you know you have finished having your family...
It's not too early! It's about perfect :)
