First Day of Spring

We woke up to big fluffly snowflakes flitterying by the windows. It warmed up, and we went out to the park. Reuben earned his scooter when he completed potty training. He was so determined to do it himself that he struggled to carry it up the stairs, for a while, at least.

Daddy had promised to fly the kite, it wasn't windy enough, but we tried and tried.

There are a few purple blossoms blooming, and leaves budding on the bushes and small trees. While I am ready for it to not be cold, I hope it stays spring for a VERY long time, maybe until May or June, I'm thinking I can handle two months of humid summer being very pregnant.

Cool Scooter! And the kite looks like it got up in the end :)

I'm jealous of you going into Spring - we're going into Autumn! I wouldn't mind so much, if it snowed here in winter :(

:)

PS. I'll have to write you a nice long email soon - it's been ages since we talked!

That scooter looks way cooler than those razor scooters that other kids have. Enjoy the cool weather!

I saw your old friend Michael in Duluth today. He is a good man that runs in his family. He asked about your family and had nice things to say about you and Justin.

Brecken, I love the picture of Reuben scooting away along the path. It's different for us that you are still in jackets for the beginning of Spring - for us it would be shorts and t-shirts.

How many weeks are you?

Looks like the scooter was a good incentive, I mean, that he absolutely loves playing with it.
