Hanging On for Dear Life

He's down to one accident a day (potty training wise). He loves his Elmo underwear.

He asks me everyday to "let me be a baby, and cuddle me." It only lasts a half hour at most, but I love it.

The other day, he asked me if I was pregnant. (Our friend who was babysitting him is pregnant, that is where he learned that word.) When I told him, "No, I'm not pregnant." He said, "I am hungry." And that was that.

If there is music playing he will dance.

I was having a hard morning a couple weeks ago. I had to get ready to go to a church function alone, and I was not going to be done in time. Reuben was throwing a fit about something like socks, and I told him I needed him to be a nice boy because mommy is frustrated. "Can Reuben be a nice boy?" I asked. He stopped crying and said, "yes." I said, "go put your shoes on." And he did. We made it on time, and Reuben was lovely for the rest of the day.

I hope he stays like this for a very long time.
