Today during sacrament meeting a family did a musical number. The Mom played the piano, and the dad sang holding the 1 year old, and the 6 and 4 year old sang "I Am a Child of God." It was lovely. Reuben sang along.
They sat down, and the Reuben wrestled his way out of our row, and told us it was his turn. We grabbed him and told him that, "no, not today." He said rather loudly that he was going to sing Jingle Bells. When we held him back he was yelling and on verge of tears.
I'm going to start practicing with Reuben so he can have a turn (but not jingle bells).

That's funny. If the speakers kept it short maybe the bishop would have gladly gone along with it. I'm happy your little boy likes music as much as you.
