I just finished my MusikGarten training. It was AMAZING. The whole time I had this overwhelming feeling that this was what I needed to be doing, and where I needed to be. I learned so much, and can't wait to share it! MusikGarten is so much more than music and movement for children, its about facilitating development. We discussed nuroscience, and developmental stages, and how the activities we do in MusikGarten classes relate to the developmental stages of the children.
I had the nice confiedence booster of the trainer singling me out and asking if I would have lunch with her. She was wonderful and kind to everyone, but that lunch was so helpful to me. Among other things, she told me she thought I was going to do a great job, and even wanted to send her nephew and his new baby to my classes. It felt so good to have that encouragement and feel like my rather drastic decision to quit my job and start down this path was well worth it.
I will catch up with photos form our outings with Courtlin on Sunday.

I missed you!
I missed you too. It sounds like a really neat experience, and I'm sure you'll do great at it.
Congratulations, and welcome back!
Yay! for music, and all the (scientific) things (I really should know) that come with it.
I missed you too! I'm so excited that you had such a great time though :) Can't wait to hear more about your musikgarten adventures :)

Jessica and I want to be Musikgarten teachers too! Yipee for that one note we can sing!
I missed you too. And I am SO EXCITED for you to be teaching these courses. Wonderful that the teacher singled you out (but not surprising.)
Sounds like an amazing new job! Keep us posted--I can't wait to hear how things go!
