Riverside, How I Love Thee

I got a phone call yesterday morning informing me of a concert for children on the Pier around 72nd. I rushed to get us ready and took the bus down. The concert was great, Reuben sang along, and responded to the story teller's questions. I guess he likes Banjos and puppets better than Beatles songs. We then looked at the ducks and started our walk home (with our friends.) It was a nice day for a three mile walk, and nice company.

I have professed my love for Riverside Park before. But, it is my FAVORITE thing about living in New York. I'll tell the tourists to go to central park, but for everyday refreshment I head to Riverside.

In other news we started laying mouse traps along our front door, and we have caught a mouse tonight. And I think there is a mouse trapped in the toaster but I'm afraid to check! I'm trying to gather my courage. (Justin got a paying project so is gone. While I am so happy that he got a paying gig, I wish he was home to check the toaster, oh, and spend time with me.)

I want to chill with little tiny boys at the park.

I know I'd love Riverside park, because it's the park where Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan finally get together in You've got Mail. And anyway, I love all things water related, so Riverside sounds perfect. Let's put it on our list of places to visit when I come to visit!

Are you ever going to be able to eat toast again? How does a mouse fit in the toaster? For your sake, I hope you're wrong about that

Riverside Park -- I concur. So, could you elaborate on the paying gig?
