North Wood in Central Park

We went to the playground in the northwest corner of central park yesterday, and then we did some "location scouting" for Justin's short film. He looked at the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Garden, and then met us back at the playground. We walked down to the Pool, and then just kept walking into the "north wood." We found some turtles, we couldn't see the city, we heard the little water falls and some birds. We ran across bridges. It was lovely! It almost felt like a vacation. Next time I go I'm packing a lunch so I don't have to leave as soon.
