Central Park Zoo

We went to Central Park Zoo today. Its was such a nice little trip. The zoo is small enough to not feel rushed or exhausted, but just big enough to feel like you went to a zoo. Reuben LOVED it. He loved looking at the animals, and it wasn't crazy crowded so we let Reub out of his stroller (which we almost never do because he is a runner, and we don't fit well chasing him through the crowds.)
This is the perfect zoo for the younger kids. The animals are the things that a two year old boy wants to see, and when you go to the children's zoo you can let your two year old boy feed the goats. The goats lick his hand, and he jumps and shouts "Hurray!"
Tip: When you want to watch the sea lion feeding sit on the west side. We sat on the east, and didn't get to see any of the dives.

Wow, so funny that you went to the Central Park Zoo today-- we almost went ourselves! It would have been fun to run into you. Let us know next time you go if you want some company!

Looks like you had a great time. We used to really like the Milwaukee Zoo because we would feed the goats. We miss the zoo now.

The goat picture reminds me of feeding the goat near the carousel at the park in Spokane. I will have to find some pictures for you to show R.

Yea! I love the the central park zoo (albeit nothing like the Minn Zoo I loved as a kid). Have you tried the bronx zoo? Its free on wednesdays.
