So, the container we had our rice and beans in wasn't air tight, and weavels got in the rice, and the beans are hard as rocks (and 4 years old).
What do we do with weavel rice and unreconstitutable pinto beans? Put them in old pillow cases!
The best size for the bean bag was a 5 x 10 rectangle. The bigger ones just aren't as bean baggy. I gave Reub a bowl with beans in it, and held the bag open for him and had him put the beans in one at a time and count them. He eventually got bored and ran off, and I finished the job in a few seconds.
I didn't take a picture of the rice, but instead of using an old sock, I made a two ply bag for our rice ice/heat packs. (And the good news is freezing for 24 hours KILLS weavels and their eggs.)

You are so clever and ingenious! You rock and you should have your own craft/cooking show. :)
I thought i recognized that fabric.
I have no clue what a weavle (sp) is.
