White Christmas

The window above the kitchen sink is a much treasured rainbow making factory, the great room fills with refracted light and I am reminded why I can't wait to have windows that light comes through.

Reuben loves the windows. He helped Grandma clean them. If he can't find Grandpa he runs to the windows, and looks and looks for "bapa" who has been shoveling the driveway.

Anniversary Date to the Morning Glory B&B: If you are ever in Grand Rapids, MN, and need a nice relaxing evening alone we highly recommend the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast. Karen and Ron are wonderful, and a good representation of Minnesota nice. The suites are lovely. We stayed in the Champagne and Roses Suit (which was just a kitchen short of being as big as our apartment.) And it had a fireplace, and a Whirlpool tub, which made for a VERY ROMANTIC quiet evening. Breakfast was delicious!

This was Brecken's first night away from Reuben. Isn't that amazing? I went 2 years without ever sleeping some where other than in the same house with Reuben.

Here is the pay it forward gift I made for Talyn: Can you even believe how cute they are?! Mommy and baby matching hats. Alena has some room to grow, and Talyn even wore her hat ice fishing (so I think that means she likes it.)

What a fun Christmas! I love being able to be around my family. NOt that my husbands family aren't great they just don't have the same traditions that we did growing up.
