So, you know how I am afraid to do things alone. Tonight I am kicking myself for that fear.
I had the news on while I was finishing up work. I heard them mention the tree lighting ceremony at the Lincoln Center, and I thought to myself, "Self, you know where that is, you should go." But then I said, "but you are alone, and it will be crowded, and dark." So I decided that Reuben and I would watch it on TV. I was glad I didn't go until they announced DAR WILLIAMS.
I knew Dar was doing a concert in New York, but it was on Sunday so I didn't think about it again. I know it is only one song, but it was Dar, and I love her, at least I saw it on TV right? If I didn't live here I wouldn't have even seen that.

I'm so like you. I hate going anywhere alone (I'm bad at going public places during the day even) and I never go out alone at night. I am far too paranoid...
I am slowly trying to be better. :) (I also am hesitant about going to museums and such with only Peter because then I'm alone to deal with Peter! Etc etc...)
I don't know who Dar Williams is.... and I feel like I probably should.....
And going places alone? I love it! :) Of course, I don't live in the crime capital of the world....
:) I'm glad you got to watch it on teli though - if you hadn't stayed home, you wouldn't have been able to do that! :)
