Tradition!

I've never been much for Halloween, but Justin has/is. Don't get me wrong, I love candy, and getting it for free... but I don't like knocking on stranger's doors, threatening them, and then getting in trouble for trading all of my "dumb" candy for the good candy.
This year Justin had class until 9 pm, and I wasn't about to do anything alone. (When every day here seems like all the crazies are out, I didn't want to see what Halloween looked like.) Our upstairs neighbors (who are mormon) invited Reuben and I to their party. We had modified dinner in a pumpkin (very delicious), and played games, and frosted cookies, and made donuts. It was perfect! I think if that is just what Reuben knows, and I have lots of candy in the house for him on Halloween I won't have to knock on strangers' doors ever again! And Reuben will never have to wear his winter coat over his costume.
November is fast approaching, I would like to be asleep when it gets here! Good night!

Very good idea! Kids will only know what they grow up with! Of course, the winter coat over the costume thing can be fun too :)

I love the photos!
