Reuben's first complete sentence:

"Owdathut." (Ow, That hurt.)

So its an understood subject, but what can you expect from an almost-21-month old?

The funny thing is he only says it when it kind of hurt, when it really heart he trembles then starts to scream. When he thinks it should have hurt but didn't really he asks, "Okay?"

I think being a child is just wonderful! I sometimes wish I still had someone to ask the 'okay?' question to! When you're all grown up you usually have to figure it out on your own, and there's often no real way of knowing if what you think hurts, actually hurts enough to justify tears and tantrums, or if you're supposed to just suck it up and get on with life!
Good for Rueben - I love it that he can speak in sentances (or, you know, A sentence). He's such a grown up little tree-hugging man :)

Reuben called us today and talked and talked but we were not sure what he was talking about.
