Not our usual quiet street.

Traffic on our street is horrible today, there is a constant line of cars. This doesn't bother us much as we don't have a car, but it is much louder than usual. Do you want to know why our usually quiet street has become a crowded beeping place? Its because Riverside Drive (the street to the west of us, that is the busy street) is closed because it is currently a movie set. It is called "Burn After Reading" its a Coen Brothers film. (Justin, and some of you, love them... Raising Arizona, Hudsucker Proxy, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, etc.) Brad Pitt, and George Clooney are in it.

A few minutes ago all we knew was that it was a Brad Pitt movie, so we were not going to go on sunday afternoon walk, but now that a certain someone knows that it is the Coen Brothers that certain someone may make us for our afternoon walk and pretend that we didn't know that the reason Riverside was closed was because of a movie.

If we do go, and if for some strange reason we see anyone, which we probably won't, having been to a set before I know that there is little chance of seeing anyone who you know the name of, I will let you know, but I highly highly doubt our walk would produce anything other than a nice stroll, and maybe a security guy telling us to turn around.

For you filmies: they are shooting on the Red One Camera, and Emmanuel Lubezki is cinematographer (Limeny Snickets, and Little Princess).

So cool! We're impressed. Even if you won't get to SEE the famous people... they're right there (possibly, probably, maybe)!!!

Well, I'm guessing your street just might quite down again, because this morning on the way to work I was listening to the Entertainment News (7:50am every morning) and I heard that George Clooney and Sara someone (who's also in the movie) were on George's motorbike heading to set, when they had an accident with a car. Now don't worry - they're going to be fine, and George's face is fine (which is important of course - he's george), but he did break a rib, and Sarah someone broke a bone in her foot, SO they've had to postpone filming for a while.
:)
Aren't you glad I listen to the Entertainment News and can therefore give you your neighbourhood traffic update?
:)

We live in a crazy world!

PS. George has been so shaken, that he's not sure he'll ever ride a bike again....

haha!

Thanks for the heads up. I won't look for him. From what I hear John Malkovich is the only one of interst on the call sheet for grants tomb. Too bad, not a chance of finding out if George is short.
