This was the house I lived in when I lived in Spokane. They put siding on it... it used to be an old wood house. If I remember right my parents bought it for really cheap because something suspicious happened there (murder?). Our neighbor was Katherine, she had a cat., and was my friend. My other friend was JRP, except that wasn't his real name, it was just what I called him. He was older-older than me. One time we watched a house burn. Mom remembers them throwing a mattress out the window. The big wide metal slide at the park isn't there any more. I decided I wasn't afraid of the sliding... I was afraid of burning my bum on the slide.

Carousel

Grandma Lark, Reuben, and Brecken at the steps by the carousel. It was hot. It was sunny. It was just like I remember it. Look at the seagull flying behind us!
We didn't ride it, its no fun if you aren't on an outside horse trying to get the golden ring... and Reuben is just too small to do that.
Reuben on the bridge... the shaky bridge... with water in the river!
This is the new coolest thing at the carousel. It is a great fountain (way cooler than the one at the Gateway.) It changes where the water is shooting out of. A big dome on the top (that circle has little shooter outer things on it), with a huge downpour from the middle, some from little stands around the circle, then big tall shoots from the ground, and little spray from the ground. The kids were having so much fun... I wished I had my swimming suit.
"No wet clothing permitted on the antique horses."

On the Way to Grandma Wanda's

Reuben and the oldest building in Idaho... The Sacred Heart Mission. We had to get out here because the little sweetheart was DONE being tied up in a car seat. He didn' t want to get back in his car seat... but was fine again once we got out of the curvy mountains into a more straight area.
This is for Justin's sake. This is "the lake." being from Minnesota I think it is funny that there is a "the" lake, but its better than that stinky dead thing in Utah.
Steer Inn and Longhorn two great Spokane originals.
This is on Aragone just off of I90

The Fields
We were almost to Idaho again when we drove through "Taft Area" and I thought to myself, "Self, I should be a independent locations manager and find the real places they should be shooting TAFT." So I did, but only what I saw on the way to grandma's house from I 90.
I'm glad i'm not there... wish you were here.
